VIDAS®

The VIDAS family of systems delivers accurate AOAC validated results through a standardized methodology with multi-parametric testing capabilities. The easy-to-use VIDAS system can process up to 30 samples simultaneously, with results available in just 40-80 minutes. VITEK® 2 Compact

The new VITEK 2 Compact puts the focus on comprehensive performance and cost savings. This new-generation VITEK features test cards with an expanded database offering high performing, rapid results for organism confirmation. Key bioterrorism organisms of interest are also included in the database. The VITEK 2 Compact also features an automated, simplified workflow that significantly increases laboratory efficiency and accuracy.

Culture Media

bioMérieux INDUSTRY provides a wide range of culture media for your food testing needs. Ready-to-use enrichment media provide a complement to the VIDAS system pathogen screening. Available media include plastic 3L and 225 ml bags. A new Campy food broth provides the capabilities for the detection of Campylobacter species. The bioMérieux line of chromogenic media plates can be used for the further identification of positive pathogen screening results. air IDEAL®

For the detection of viable organisms through active air sampling, the light, portable air IDEAL uses standard prepared media, such as contact plates or 100mm plates. The five interchangeable heads allow for continuous sampling, and the user-friendly software is easy to program with minimal training. The air IDEAL can optimize plant operations through reduced unit cost and a lower cost per test.
